Privacy policy

Effective 7 October 2026

The short version. This website uses Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to understand how people find it and whether the advertising works. If you email me, book a call or register interest in one of the products, I keep what you send so I can reply. I don't sell personal information, and you can ask me what I hold about you at any time.

Who this covers

This policy is for invertsystems.com.au and for enquiries made to Invert Systems. Invert Systems is Vaughn Edmonds trading as Invert Systems, ABN 44 869 392 328. When this policy says "I" or "we", that is who it means.

It does not cover the software products, which run on their own sites and are covered by the product privacy policy, or other people's websites that this site links to. All of Invert Systems' legal documents are at invertsystems.com.au/legal.

What gets collected

What you give me. If you email me, I get your name, email address and whatever you choose to write. If you book a discovery call, the booking is made through Google Calendar, and I receive the name, email address and any notes you enter.

If you register interest in a product. The form on a product page (for example ChalkScore) sends your name, club, email address and anything you write about your competitions to that product's server, which Invert Systems runs in Sydney, Australia.

What is collected automatically. When you visit the site, these services receive information from your browser:

How it is used

If you register interest in a product, I'll contact you about that product, including when it launches.

I won't add you to a mailing list because you emailed me, booked a call or registered interest.

Who it is shared with

Only the services listed above, and only for the purposes listed above. I don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Overseas. Google, Meta and Netlify store and process data outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the site you accept that information will be handled by these providers under their own privacy policies.

If you work with me

Consulting and training work can involve information about your business, your staff or your customers. How that is handled is agreed with you before any work starts, and it is used only to do the work you engaged me for.

Opting out

Keeping it safe, and for how long

Emails and booking details are kept in my Google account for as long as they are needed for the conversation and for business records. Interest registrations are kept until the product launches and for a reasonable time after, or until you ask me to delete them. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. I take reasonable steps to protect what I hold, but no method of sending or storing information online is completely secure.

Seeing or correcting what I hold

Email vaughn@invertsystems.com.au and ask. I'll tell you what I have, correct it if it is wrong, and delete it if you'd like, unless I'm required to keep it.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, email me first and I'll respond within 30 days. If that doesn't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date.
